Walt Smith
In 1996, Walt and Philip Templeton teamed to form IDS, Integrated Document Solutions. Ranked in the Top 100 Distributorships in the nation in their 5th year in business, they have continually climbed that list since. Walt's 30+ years in the forms industry included the position of Southwest Zone Manager for VGC, responsible for sales groups covering numerous states before deciding to start an independent distributorship. Walt Earned a CFC, Certified Forms Consultant designate and advanced his credentials by earning his CDC, Certified Document Consultant.
Walt serves on the Board of Directors of the Print Services and Distribution Association (PSDA), the exclusive non-profit professional association dedicated to enhancing the success of the distributor channel for business communications, including print, marketing and related services

Philip Templeton
Armed with a degree in Business Management (minors in Accounting and Industrial Safety), Philip hit the ground running in 1985 as only a college football player can. Working for large business forms manufacturers he gained valuable sales experience and learned the printing industry from top to bottom over the next 11 years. These companies did not have the systems or product range to be "A single source provider of business communication tools." As a result, IDS was born with the goal of filling this market need.

Kathy Smith
Kathy Smith serves as Corporate Secretary for IDS. She has been with IDS since its inception; you see, Walt Smith is her husband. But the title of secretary doesn't tell the whole story. She is the Operations Manager, Human Resource Manager, Accounts Manager, etc. Customers and Vendors find an eager problem solver in Kathy. Maybe that is why she is so trusted.

Richard Davis
Richard came on board at IDS during a major systems migration. This new system brought a host of new conveniences for clients and staff alike. Clients quickly embraced the Inte/c eProcurement system for placing orders and requests, verifying inventory levels, checking usage, and tracking shipments. Since that time Richard has been responsible for customizing solutions to client needs and requests.

Mike Dodson
Mike claims that in the 41 years that he has been in this industry, the ones with IDS have been the most fun and rewarding. He previously worked with Walt and Philip at a large forms manufacturer and discovered that they shared a similar business philosophy. Their friendship continues today. Mike works to become a silent employee for the organizations he serves while providing an honest and professional Buyer/Seller relationship.

Wes Smith
Wes Smith came to IDS after graduating from Stephen F. Austin State University in 2005. Over the past four years he has been able to build a strong knowledge in the Print and Promotional Items Industry. Learning from the veteran employees of IDS and strategic partnerships with their vendors has been a wonderful resource for Wes. He is active with the PPAI and the PSDA to stay current with industry technology and looks forward to what the future of our Industry has to bring. You will most likely find Wes taking onsite inventories for his customers, helping with new projects or finding new exciting business opportunities for IDS. He also enjoys playing golf, scuba, and camping.

Paula Carson
Paula was recruited to IDS in early 2004 after providing excellent service with an IDS vendor. Doing bindery work and running a press for a commercial printer, covering a 12 state territory as a marketing representative for a short run forms manufacturer in addition to customer service work, Paula's extensive background in all phases of the printing business makes her something of a Master Customer Service Representative.

Ron Chapman Jr.
With the responsibilty of warehousing, packaging, and shipping products for IDS's clients, Ron has his days filled. He takes a personal interest in making clients happy, many times by knowing their needs so well that he spots a potential error before it is made. After 6 years with IDS, Ron has become an invaluable team member.

Marshall Mashburn
David Northway
Having spent many years as owner of his own printing company, David brings a wealth of knowledge concerning all manner of sheet-fed printing and finishing. Just before he came to IDS David was VP of Promotional Products for a large national company. His experience in promotional conceptual ideas and attention to detail in the production process serves our clients well. David is our operations manager in Houston however he is always willing to lend a hand where needed. David has been married to Theresa for 31 years, they have three children. Free time is spent with his kids and grandchildren. He and Theresa love to travel.

Melba Von Eye
Concentrating on software compatible forms, specifically for churches for over 14 years, has paid off for Melba's clients. With a degree in Information Systems from San Diego State University and having completed the DMIA Forms School in 1996 she set out to learn about the unique needs that churches and non-profit organizations have. Now, her focus is on security systems for checks and other legal documents. She enjoys staying informed about the latest technology and passing this on to her customers. She takes pride in providing “Big Church” prices at “little church” quantities.

Charlie Bodiford
With 20 years of experience in all aspects of the print distribution business from which to draw, Charlie's unique perspective is greatly appreciated by clients and colleagues alike. From shipping/receiving to inventory control; from A/P and Payroll to customer service, Charlie understands the many steps involved in getting a job completed correctly. And, the best way to solve those special requests.

Jeffery F. Cannon
After 30 years of success in the printing industry, Jeff has now accepted the position of “Vice President – National Accounts”. Over the past 15 years, Jeff has orchestrated and managed numerous accounts that have a national presence. His knowledge and background offer our customers a business relationship with the highest level of accuracy, accountability, and consistency.
